Macrina Academy of Dance (MAD) was born in 2020 from the heart of Annemarie Macrina, the Owner and Artistic Director of MAD. She created MAD to provide a welcoming environment for children through the art of dance. At MAD, we believe that hard work and perseverance should be taught in a fun and nurturing atmosphere. We combine leading dance programs with a place of caring for the well being and growth of each child. Our goal is to teach kindness, courage, respect, and determination both on and off the stage. These values are the foundation on which MAD was created. Join us and become part of the MAD family!

Sept 8th - Classes Begin
October 4th-Lower Providence Fall Fest (Teams and Companies perform)
October 20th-25th- MAD’s Annual Pumpkin Decorating/Carving Contest
October 31st - Studio Closed for Halloween- Students may wear their costumes to classes 10/24-10/30.
November 15th - Team/Company Costume payments due
November 17th-22nd - MAD SPIRIT/Picture Week
November 26th-30th - Closed for Thanksgiving (Wednesday-Sunday) December 5th - Jessica Lynn Holiday Performance at the Colonial Theater (Teams/Companies)
December 15th-20th - Holiday Spirit Week- Students may add festive clothing or items OVER their dance attire for the holidays!
December 21st-Jan 4th - Closed for Winter Break- Classes Resume Mon Jan 5th February 9th-14th - Dress in Valentine’s themed colors
April 15th-20th - Spring Break
May-Picture day- date and time TBD
May 22nd-24th -Starpower Dance Competition
May 22nd-25th- Closed for Memorial Day (Classes Resume Tuesday May 26th) June- In Studio Finale rehearsal for recital (Dates and Times tbd)
June 12th -Last Day of Classes for 2025-2026 dance year
Tentative Recital Weekend- 2nd or 3rd weekend in June
